Weather: The city of Arequipa has a very dry but warm weather. Temperature fluctuates between 7°C at night and 21ºC during the day. The cold months are between June and September.
 

Altitude illness: Symptoms of this illness, called “soroche” in Peru, appear above 2,000 meters over sea level. In order to avoid ir we recommend you to eat light food, drink abundant liquids (coca tea would be ideal) and to rest the first hours.
